hilarious how awful the script for this anime is. every episode got me chuckling during most of the exposition dialogues. anyhow, not gonna write long-format explanations to each of them, just gonna list some:

- not a single moment the AIs convinced me they are AIs. they all act like any badly-designed human character out there.
- the anime shows ZERO normal interactions between humans and AIs, just the ones that are going to have some impact on the narrative. and there is a terrorist group that wants to destroy all AIs because... humans and AIs can't coexist? and there is not a single moment where this ...

Mixed Feelings

Term " Wasted effort" is good fit for this show as despite having one of the best production I have seen in very long time, bland and uninteresting story bogs down the show to mediocrity.

Setting is nothing unusual A.I Robots going rouge with our heroine's duty to save the world. While this whole premise was interesting enough on its own , back then it was still new, I would expect show in 2021 not a copy of I,Robot 2004.
I expected this show to have more of self awareness and tell a story with understanding that the audience is already very familiar ...

Mixed Feelings

Preliminary (10/13 eps)

The beginning of the season was extremely promising. The show however struggles with the ambitions themes it has set. Overrated

Poor writing

The story sets clear goals from the start. The way it get's to these goals is bad. The character growth is very strange in this one. The time skips are awful. There is no feeling like 80 years have passed over the course of a couple of episodes. We should be seeing giant improvements in the world, but the future looks like fantasy not sci fi. The writers don't know anything about sci fi it is clear to see.

The visuals hold up (mostly)

Very nice ...

Preliminary (6/13 eps)

Written by the same author as Re:Zero and produced by Studio Wit, this anime has every chance of being an amazing experience and unsurprisingly it delivers.

As expected of Tappei Nagatsuki, this anime holds no punches. Each episode is both rich and heavy in emotions, as of this review episode 6 has been released. I just got done watching it but I had to take a good 20 minutes to just process what I'd watched. In a way this anime is kinda like if Plastic Memories and Terminator had a love child. It's a very character driven anime but with hugely high stakes which keeps each ...

After a quick glance through the reviews, I'm glad I'm not the only low scorer on this anime. I was beginning to think this was truly a first where my opinion was so different to others hugely by majority.

I didn't get it. My enjoyment of the entire series decreased as it went on. What initially started off as curiosity and interest gradually became dread and the only reason why I completed it was because I kinda (overstatement) wanted to see how it would end. Also because I was far enough in that dropping a 13 episode anime actually seemed stupid and lazy on my ...

Anime originals are always an interesting adventure every season. Will it be really good or will it be pretty bad? Considering recent ventures such as Wonder Egg Priority and Jouran, as well as the historical performance of these anime originals, one would be stupid to not enter a series like Vivy with some level of skepticism. To be honest, I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to watch this series after reading the description, everything seemed so cliche and cringe to me.

But here I am, writing a review for what I consider one of the top 3 anime this season and one of the best, ...

Vivy is good, not great, but could have been great, given proper bake time in the oven. So often we see titles do this half-baked effort, and it's so unfortunate, because under this half-baked series, is a good premise. Idols aren't my thing, but I gave this a shot, and off the bat I was ready to binge the rest. I did so, and unfortunately, the world, and the story, are underdeveloped. Vivy doesn't get proper character growth, the story is everywhere almost episodic like Violet Evergarden, but not as removed as VE was from its main story. The series ...

-No Major Spoiler-

This anime was damn Good and Very Worth To Watch!
Let me explain that.

Starting with a scientist who saw the AI apocalypse was happen in his world. Knowing that the scientist tried his best to be able to fix it, of course thats not easy.
The one and only way to fix it is send a AI Robot from the future to the past 100 Years Before and make some team work with the girl who live beetwen the past and the future, yeah thats vivy. And thats how this anime was made.

I see many reviews are bothered by the "Plot ...

I can't understand why people praise this show so much. The characters are terribly constructed, with the author completely unable to understand their motivations and intentions. The AIs are supposed to not be fully sentient and/or understand human emotions, but they're all far more emotive than most of the human characters, thus rendering Vivy's conflict of not know what it is to sing with all your hear moot and false.
The narrative is all over the place, with the time jumps between episodes glossing over several important plot points that are never addressed.
And don't get me started on the music. It's unmemorable, tedious and unimaginative (my ...

I did not like this show.

Japanese people are going too far to commodify the act of tugging at someone's heartstrings. It's not genuine. It feels fake. I'm so extremely tired of anime coming up with cool concepts and resorting to give it the treatment that is mostly likely to bring in popularity in terms of anime ratings (because most people do not understand what makes a story good).

It's when you are reading about a new anime which has a cool concept that then you find out it is set in a high school and now you know for a fact that it will have misunderstanding, ...

"Vivy: fluorite eyes song" is a tragic irony. Its irony is so masterfully executed it's breathtaking. Not in a comedic sense but in a deeply thoughtful way that simply goes under your skin. Due to spoilers, I will not list the story's relevant contradictions. But they are easy to grasp as their use as stylistic devices is an important part of the narrative. So keep an eye out for them when you watch the show yourself.

The story revolves mainly around one goal. Save humanity from extinction. Which is not a particularly one-of-a-kind scenario. To save humanity from deadly rampaging AI's? A bit more specific but ...

Vivy: Fluorite Eye’s Song is a 2021 original anime series produced by Wit Studio, written by the author of Re:Zero, Tappei Nagatsuki. The story follows an A.I. songstress named Vivy, also known as Diva, who has a job as an amusement park singer. She gets hacked by another A.I. who came from 100 years in the future, named Matsumoto. He warns her that a war against A.I. and humans will occur in 100 years, causing catastrophic results and the extinction of humanity unless Vivy helps to stop it.

Matsumoto and Vivy work together to interfere in various future singularity events to prevent A.I. from overdeveloping and ...

So this isnt gonna be a super long review im just gonna put my thoughts of each part of the show. Sorry if what i say makes no sense, not that i really care.

Story: 6

While the premise is interesting, the execution sometimes fall's flat . I was very impressed by the first half of Vivy: Flourite Eye Song and was hoping to give it an 8 or even a 9. The main reason i was impressed was because of the story, the 2 episode arcs were mostly well paced, compelling, and enjoyable. Especially episode 6, which had me on the edge of my seat the ...

So, I didn't like Vivy, It was just really average…
Story
There's nothing to the story. Time travel concept turns out to be boring, non-important side missions, and most obvious plot-twists.
Inconsistent, episodic structure made me feel like there was no stakes, the anime didn't give me a reason to actually care whether the androids succeed or not.
It was a different plot every few episodes, that way my interest slowly started fading.

Animation is pretty good, WIT studio did a great job with certain fight scenes. I didn't like creepily looking realistic style that they used sometime, but that's depends on the preference.
Art is ok at most, but ...

What is one's purpose in life? That is the question that this anime has you wondering even if you are human or AI. How do we continue to evolve as a society, as people, as the world changes, and how do we continue when we hit a fall.
This anime is one where you would think it is a straight up idol anime from just the photo, but episode one really tells you that this a wait and see approach. As the anime progresses you can see how one will become invested, but also see why things could have been taken to a different course of ...

the story is uneventful and boring . vivy just goes around fighting and trying to prevent the AI from destroying the world .and the fight scenes weren't that good tho . she meets unnecessary characters that contributes nothing to the story .overall nothing interesting happens in the story . the world building was awful. it doesn't seem like a modern world where AI live in.

Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song is one of those examples where Animation quality and Sound production value don't mean anything when the writing is the bottom low tier to be even accepted as mediocre and I still don't get why this thing gets praise considering how poor the writing was.

When you talk about an AI going on a rampage against humanity what would you think? Because human doesn't deserve the world? It'll lead to another extinction? Humans abuse AI so much that they developed feelings? Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song talked about none of those which is rather surprising. Philosophy was also brought onto the table whenever ...

Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song has been a pretty good watch. Essentially following the premise of 'AI goes back in time to stop the future AI from becoming mankind's extinction event', the show follows Vivy through her journey of coming to grips with the situation she's in and finding how to rectify the situation that has been prophesized to her.

The show's strong suit is its action animation, has some of the best I've seen in anime so far. There's a pretty decent amount of time in the series set aside for battles and they look and sound great. They might not the best choreographed and maybe ...

Yet again, another 2021 anime original takes my breath away.

I'm a little late hopping onto the bandwagon, but Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song (I'll just call it Vivy: FES for short) is probably the most surprising find for me this season. Never would I have expected to enjoy something that I first expected from the synopsis to be something like Hatsune Miku meets Terminator LOL. Jokes aside, let's move onto the review.

If you haven't read the synopsis of the series, here's a quick rundown of what Vivy: FES is about. Vivy is introduced as an A.I. diva of Nirland, a small and not quite popular amusement ...

-Minor Spoiler Review

There are no words to describe this anime, it's simply amazing.

Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song does everything right and has no flaws in its 13 episodes.

STORY

The story is pretty normal. An apocalyptic future where Ais goes crazy and starts to kill humans, the thing is how these anime tell you the story is what make this show special and how they execute perfectly is amazing. The pacing is perfect, they don't drag things more than they should but they neither rush the plot.
