Heat Summer Camps

With the summer holidays nearly upon us the Heat Coaches will be working hard over the summer delivering camps across Surrey. If you want to take part full details of each camp is shown below.

Fun Attack

The Heat have teamed up with Woking Borough Council, Winston Churchill School and the Woking BlackHawks basketball club to deliver Fun Attack. There are 3 camps which are aimed at teaching FUNdametal skills of basketball.

Under 12's Camp

From 26-29 July 2010 10 am - 3 pm. A 4 day camp aimed at 7 - 11 year old children.

Price: £20 per day (attend the whole camp or 1,2 or 3 days )

Under 15's Camp

From 2nd - 3rd August 10 am - 3 pm. A 2 day camp aimed at 12 - 14 year old children.

Price: £20 per day (attend the whole camp or just 1 day)

Under 18's Camp

From 4th - 5th August 10 am - 3 pm. A 2 day camp aimed at 15 - 18 year old children.

Price: £20 per day (attend the whole camp or just 1 day)

At each camp prizes will be given for basketball skills. The venue for each camp is Winston Churchill School, Hermitage Road, Woking GU21 8TL

Guildford Spectrum Camps

Once again the Heat will be hosting 2 summer basketball camps at the Guildford Spectrum. The first camp is on 10th August 2010 with another camp on 23rd August. Both camps are for all ages 8 - 16 and are between 10 am and 4 pm. Price: £26 per day

Surrey Sports Park Elite Basketball Camp

The Elite Basketball Camp is aimed at 15 - 18 year old National League Players. This pre season camp is designed with performance at its core with workshops designed to give attendees the extra edge in their training, playing and lifestyle. Skills, drills and match play will be delivered by Heat Coaches and extra workshops will be delivered by Surrey Sports Park's Performance Manager to give the best preparation for the season ahead. High Performance workshops will include Speed, Agility and Jumping, Strength and Conditioning, Flexibility and Personal Workout Plan.

This is a unique Camp for performance athletes at one of the UK's top facilities for Performance Sports People and the Heat's new venue for the 2010 - 11 season.

The Camp takes place between Monday 2nd August and Wednesday 4th August between 9 am and 5 pm. The total cost for the 3 days is £90.
