Want to be the Next Mike Martin

Even though the summer is nearly upon the Guildford Heat Coaching team are looking for the next Mike Martin to represent the Guildford Heat in the British Basketball League. So in preparation for next season the Heat are running their National League and Academy Trials next Saturday at their fantastic new venue, the Surrey Sports Park.

The first of 3 trials is on Saturday 8th May at the times depending on your age:

Under 13 & 14 11.00 am to 12.30 am

Under 15 & 16 11.00 am to 12.30 am

Under 18 12.30 pm to 2.00 pm

The cost is just £5 for the sessions.

Other trials take place on 12th June 2010 and 3rd July 2010 both again at the Surrey Sports Park.

For those interested in keeping up with their basketball skills in the summer months can attend the Heat Summer Training. The sessions take place at the following times starting May 17th.

10 - 12 Year Olds

Mondays 18.30 - 20.00

13 - 15 Year Olds

Mondays 20.00 - 21.30

National League 16 - 18 Year Olds

Tuesdays 19.00 - 20.30

All Sessions will take place at Christ College, Larch Avenue, Guildford, GU1 1JY
