Heat Basketball Academy and National League Trials

The Guildford Heat are pleased to announce their trials for their Academy and National League Programmes.. The trials will take place at the new home of the Heat at the Surrey Sports Park, Guildford on 8th May 2010, 12th June 2010 and 3rd July 2010.

The turn at the Heat trials is amazing, its competitive, demanding with all attendees going head to head with great players in their own age group. Come along and test yourself against players of all ability. We are looking for the basketball players of the future and it could be you.

The very best players will be invited back to an elite summer programme and allocated into a team that will suit your ability. But don't worry if you are new to basketball and still learning as there is a team for everyone and you will be offered a team and programme with access to our great coaching team, to improve you individual and team building skills.

The timing for each day is as follows:

Under 13 & 14 11.00 am to 12.30 am

Under 15 & 16 11.00 am to 12.30 am

Under 18 12.30 pm to 2.00 pm

The cost is just £5 for the sessions.

Take you basketball to the next level. Remember that the Heat is the only basketball team in Surrey and Berkshire that has player pathways for the British Basketball League (BBL). Train and play with the Heat and it could be you playing in the BBL in just a few years.
